Final Project
I updated the design of the bow by changing the colours of some of the components and making some changes to the overall silhouette of the weapon, preserving the design I originally had but making it more easy to render in blender.
I made the 3D model as similar to the concept art as possible, using any meshes that would be appropriate for the design. The most challenging part was the black design that spirals around the body of the bow. I made the model low poly to better fit the game, Persona 5: Royal.
I tested some materials and colours that would look and feel appropriate as if this were a real weapon that someone would bring to battle.
When I was satisfied with the bow, I moved on to 3D modelling the bow and quiver. The bow was easy to model just using basic meshes and vertices and making it look synonymous to the bow. I changed up the design of the quiver because there were some complications in the original design that made it hard to replicate in 3D, so I settled on a simpler shape.
Like the bow, I applied the appropriate colours and materials to tie these assets together.
For the final thumbnails, I arranged each asset to look like how some weapons are presented in video games, showing every component that the weapon uses in a clear way.
I added red lighting for ambience and adjusted the position of the camera for the weapon's final look, as a nod to the red theming in Persona 5: Royal.
