Instructions
From the homepage, it can be determined that the website’s representative colours are red, black and white. These colours contrast with each other nicely and makes the important information stand out clearly. The colours could be applied differently to make the website look more visually pleasing to the eye.
The fonts used in this website are Arial and Helvetica. These fonts make the contents of the pages look easy to read without looking too cluttered. However, In some pages, the font used is Cormorant Garamond, which looks very different from Arial and Helvetica, so there is a dip in consistentency in its font choices.
The same can be said about the branding or logo, which has 3 different fonts that don’t match with each other at all.
User Experience (UX)
When a user wants to go to any of the tabs such as services , they will be greeted with the options in which they can choose which service they would want to go to. For example if the user wants to find out more detals about the architectural service, they simply need to go to the services tab, click on architecture, and they will be able to find more details about this service. Clicking on one of these options under the ‘Architecture’ section will lead you to a page that will explain more about the details, such as 3D modeling.
The overall user experience is quite good for the average user, as it is easy to navigate between tabs and look for the details that the user needs, and it is quite responsive in terms of its loading time and speed. However, the user experience may not be as accommodating for users with photosensitive epilepsy as the animation for switching between tabs is a sudden brightness, and this can bring a negative effect to these individuals.
Functionality
The website has a lot of fun animations that make it look fun and professional. The loading times are very fast with no lag at all. Hovering above one of the clickable boxes will make it look lighter so you know what you will be clicking on. The contact page not only has the typical contact box, but also a map that you can move around in to look for the office
However, while navigating this website through a mobile device, the experience is different as there are some parts that aren’t modified correctly to fit the size of a mobile phone screen.
